I am familiar with the file somewhat but what do you mean by 'create data for them'.....

Look at the model Studebaker Self-Propelled Light AA Gun. He is in the game? But it can be assigned to SRU, to indicate the country of manufacture,years of production, technical data, scientific advances to create both. All this can be prescribed only in the DEFAULT file.UNIT, or create another file .UNIT for the scenario.

Oh...

To be honest I'm not sure exactly how they generate Stats for units in this game exactly (Does Hard Attack strictly reflect JUST on weapons, does a Infantry Battalion only reflect on small arms but are unit Stats generated to reflect integrated ATGMs, SAMs etc that are obviously present in say a BMP Battalion or are we only really interested in the vehicles stats...)

I am happy to try help out as I can with this just want to be more consistant with Game Stats if possible or follow at least a 'formula'

It's simple. For example, Studebaker Self-Propelled Light AA Gun. Find in DEFAULT.UNIT Light AA Gun. Change the type of movement, visibility, vulnerability and other parameters to reflect that Light AA Gun on the chassis of the truck. Here's a new combat unit.
