How exactly did you set america to offensive? Overriding the scenario itself does not appear to make america more aggressive.Thadwookie wrote:What i got from it, it basically overrides the scenario. So nations that have a specific listed one, like america, is set defensive. I set it as conquest and it literally overrid everyone because america is a bad bad boy when it's on that setting, and high volatility, everyone was out for conquest, hehe.. it's like.. i guess an easy override, rather then going through every cvp to change a nation to how you want it to perform.

These settings do not work in new Trump rising update. Any idea how to make AI more aggressive?

Re: Increasing AI Aggressive Behavior
So, IF I were to find the appropriate file for the Germany 1936 "campaign" and assignAragos wrote:playeragenda {0:Opportunistic, 1:Vengeance, 2:Conquest, 3:Intimidation, 4:Profit, 5:Status Quo, 6:Submission, 7:Reunification, 8:Enlightenment}Thadwookie wrote:Interesting, so what does
--Change 'aistance: ' to 'aistance: 3'
--Add 'agenda: 2' at the bottom of the file
specifically do before i try it? if anyone knows.
playeraistance {0:Normal, 1:Passive, 2:Defensive, 3:Aggressive, 4:Unpredictable}
agenda: 2 means the ai will try to conquer the world
aistance: 3 means the ai is aggressive
playeragenda: 5
playeraistance: 2
that would likely put and END to most non-scripted wars?

ADDIT: poking around in these files a bit . . . found this text file
Q:\Steam\steamapps\common\Supreme Ruler Ultimate\Campaign\C193603GER.Scenario
which contains a blank entry for:
aistance:
but "agenda" doesn't show up in the file anywhere.
Then of course, there is the
Q:\Steam\steamapps\common\Supreme Ruler Ultimate\MapsSR1936.cvp
which contains the following for apparently EVERY nation on the map
playeragenda
playeraistance 0
SO! . . . at worst I gather I could backup these files, skim through the MapsSR1936.cvp and assign the '5' and '2' values to every nation in the game and this would hypothetically cause any of the 1936 campaigns to have very few wars EXCEPT those which occur as a result of scripted events (or by the player)?

Heh, that is interesting Egypt in MapsSR1936.cvp has an entry:
playeragenda 9
So they must have introduced some new agendas at some point?
