Its been a long time since I created the other thread, but after going through about 7 models and playing with the textures a whole lot, I am ready to show some work off. At the moment I have been working on building the Fairey Firefly and have using supreme ruler cold war in order to do the testing of the mesh. Its not something that is done yet, but as you can see, it is well on its way to being complete.

I don't think that I can directly hotlink the images from steam, but here are the links to some images:

Some more pictures as I've managed to get time to do some more work on the Firefly recently, opinions wanted (and needed). Do you think the weathering on the wings is Ok as well?

Good stuff Scuba

So since you make these kind of things, couple questions:

If I wanted to start making sprites, landscapes and what have you for a game I want to make that would basically be a Mesolithic version of SRU crossed with Baldur's Gate (but with no magic at all). Ideally there will be at least two map scales in the initial prototype, all simple fake 3d isometric stuff at about the quality level of SRU or Baldur's Gate is what I will shoot for in the eventual product (though it may be MUCH more rudimentary than that in the initial prototype) . . . what free else cheap options would I have for making the visuals?
