GOVTYPE question (Split from Changelog 9.2.3)
GOVTYPE
What exactly is meant by gdpinfluence(Influence on gdp/c )? What is the impact on gdp? And range to adjustment is 0-1 or 0-11?

Re: GOVTYPE question (Split from Changelog 9.2.3)
I split your post since it doesn't directly relate to the update. It's more about the data we posted here;

I don't know the answer, I'll pass along the question.

Well, #19 is "coup".
https://supremeruler.gamepedia.com/Events
We don't have something that is specifically a "fascist coup". Not sure what that actually means, there is no govtype of Fascist.

Re: GOVTYPE question (Split from Changelog 9.2.3)
The gdpinfluence value is a multiplier that is used when calculating the adjustment to the regions gdp each day. This is a fairly complicated equation that takes into account a lot of region variables at different weights. But to simplify it is a number that will be multiplied with the calculated adjustment. Any positive floating point value will work. Having the value set as 1 is the same as not having any additional gdp adjustments, where as 0 would zero out the value entirely, 0.5 would give half the adjustment, and 2.5 would give you 2.5x the normal adjustments. Hope that this helps.
Like Balthagor had mentioned there is no specific event for a "facist" coup, but event 19 will change the government type to Dictatorship, and event 31 will let you specify any of the GovTypes

D-bassett, This value also indicates how much GDP will rise/fall?
In the new update GOVTYPE is added in to wmdata this is very good. This will allow a better assessment of the advantages/disadvantages of various forms of government.

Re: GOVTYPE question (Split from Changelog 9.2.3)
Not exactly, but it plays a part in how much it rises or falls by. For instance setting this value to 0.9 will make the GDP change at a 10% slower rate than normal (1.0). If you want to speed up the rate of change then increase this number, to slow the rate of change decrease the number.

In the GOVTYPE list missing some important tags- Inflation/diflation multiplier and Facilities construction time multiplier. Is it possible to add them?

The Government Type data structure won't be updated for Supreme Ruler Ultimate, but we have changes planned for Galactic Ruler and for the Next Generation of Supreme Ruler.

Re: GOVTYPE question (Split from Changelog 9.2.3)
IN Next Gen SR would be nice to divide govtype into 3 types- government, economic, millitary, to make the system more flexible. Example: if you play for a country with a communist government, you can choose two economic models- Planned Economy or State capitalism with their positive and negative effects. If you play for a country with a democratic government, you can choose two economic models - Free market economy or State capitalism.
P.S. The current Communism not suitable for modern China in 2020 scenarios. I did some small tests, so that Chinese GDP grows more energetically.(especially under ai control)
