Fluctuating production numbers problem

Post by ALPHASTAR »

Hey guys so I got something I hope anyone can answer. I like to play a lot on the Cold War scenario of Supreme Ruler Ultimate, and lots of times I like to play as very poor countries to turn them into major regional/global super powers in economics and military. My usual strategy is to create massive amounts of consumer goods to sell because they are the most profitable but whenever I play as countries with a population lower than 3-4 million I've noticed that once I finish a consumer goods factory the production fluctuates constantly. For example the day after completion it will say I'm producing 1,300 tons of goods a day, but the next day that number will go down to 250, then back up to 1,300 the next day. Does anyone know if that has something to do with the game mechanics or if it's something else? Also does anyone know if there is a way to fix this so I have steady production?

It may be one or both of the things you asked about. Lets try to clear up the obvious first. 42 sec video showing how to see if you are lacking anything for a facility. Check to see if any of this is an issue first;

The video was made for a particular user who submitted their save game, so ignore that fact it appears I am speaking to you. The process is the same.

so for what the video showed that wasn't the problem. I've tried that in the past but it was a failure. whenever this issue occurs it always says i have full capacity on supply as well as production. so im going to add a couple of picture to explain my dilemma. (sorry but I will have to put them in a link format because they are too big for some reason)

https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0?ui=2&i ... 3840-h1840

the first picture its before I activate a consumers goods factory.

the second picture is after the consumer goods factory is online

the third and final one is the fluctation occuring the next day along with the screen showing that I have enough supply for the factory. I hope this helps to explain my problem

Ok, the links only take me to a "create an account" page.

Alternatively, you could link your save game using a free service where you do not even need to sign up. I tend to use file dropper.

Ok so I made a link for the save. I'm putting it in this message here. the save with Liberia during the cold war, you will see a consumer goods factory sort of close to Monrovia which is currently inactive. when you activate it the problem that I mentioned will start, just make sure to check the production of consumer goods. If you have any questions feel free to ask me

It is just as I pointed out above and in the video. You do not have enough electricity to run all that production you have. On top of that you are trying to bring another facility on line. Look at this pic of your electricity production and needs;
Image

You are producing 48 and require almost 14 thousand. On a side note, there are a lot of things wrong with your setup. The number one issue in my opinion is you have around 800K population and you are building large facilities when you do not have the manpower to fill them.

Disable a large amount of your production, you simply cannot support it with your current electrical output nor will building new power plants help as you do not have the manpower.

Please allow me to inject a bit of humor because I genuinely laughed out loud when I noticed all that production and you have zero power plants, natta, none. That is funny right there, I don't care who you are.
