NEWS - Pending Update and Developer Livestream
Happy Holidays everyone! Two bits of news!
First, there should be by Thursday Dec 29th at the latest an update posted onto Steam into the "BETA" package. This update has a few internal fixes and improvements, and the biggest changes are the catching of some potential crash issues when bad data is in some of the data files (the cause of some reported crashes in "Shattered World" games and modded games), and an adjustment of the relationship between game volatility settings and Casus Belli.
Second, I will be doing the first ever BattleGoat Developer Live-Stream gameplay on Saturday, December 31st, at 2pm Eastern time (1900 UTC). I will be doing a playthrough and playing one of my favorite single-player scenarios, talking about the game and its design, and answering questions on chat. Or at least that's the plan. We expect to be streaming on YouTube and Twitch - more details soon with links.

Great! Show some tactics
These drag and click video's dont show the game potential in my opinion.

If you are unlucky he will just show you moth pictures! >_<
Seriously I think both are good ideas as it shows that you are alive and working on the game. Create a bug report forum for the these incomplete builds and you might also get some free testing on it. In the end this move could actually save you time with testing.
You might even want to consider regularly creating unstable beta updates just so people have something to mess with together with more stable ones (and if nothing else to show people work in ongoing). Also I know you can keep an archive of builds on Steam using he beta function which might be worth it as it allows people to roll back to versions before bugs like say the CB one.

Thank you to everyone that tuned in or watched the Livestream. The archive is available on Youtube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mx85JR6SHDs
It was fun to do, and some great questions and comments in the chat. Hopefully we can do another one in the not-to-distant future.
Sorry for my dismal blitzkrieg performance - it took me almost 3 months to take Minsk, a feat which only took 5 days in the historical Operation Barbarossa - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of ... 80%93Minsk
My lack of effective use of combined arms and poor use of panzer units resulted in the Soviets being able to escape and repair their units, instead of the encircle-and-destroy tactics that happened in the actual battle. But it was fun

Haha just say you were showing off the AI capabilities
Love to see more in the future. Im sure there were some people who learned a thing or two. Hopefully it results in better let's plays.

Re: NEWS - Pending Update and Developer Livestream
I sadly missed it because at that time I was already celebrating the New Year (still had in on my mind though) so next time probably you could do the streaming on a "regular" day.
anyways I watched the youtube version and I must say it was a nice streaming there are a couple of stuff I didn't know or never consider doing so I learned a lot.
Good job! and I hope you guys do it more often.
I wish you all a happy and successful new year!
