Supreme Ruler Ultimate Version 9.0.52 Released

We've just posted a small update today. Two main parts:

1) Some improvements and fixes:

Version 9.0.52
  • Diplomatic Actions Against were not affecting DAR/MAR, now fixed
  • Crash bug fixed when scenario without Steam Achievement code has Victory
  • State Actions fixed (reversed) fund govt / fund opposition icons.
  • "Global Defcon" restriction for Superpowers removed
  • Spacebar added as alternate Pause key (in addition to Pause and <P>)
2) With this version we have released our Localizations/Translations in BETA form as requested by many of our players.

The following languages are supported:
- German
- French
- Spanish

You can change the default language in the Game Options screen under the "File" section.

As noted, the translations are still in BETA form, and include a number of machine-translated elements. There are also some elements (such as region names) that are still in English, and other elements (such as Campaign descriptions) that will show as blank. Additionally, there will be GUI issues (text that overflows its field or panel) and maybe even other oddities.

I've created a thread under the "Issues/Support" were players can post suggestions or point out errors in the translations so that we can work to improve them in future releases.

Holy ****. I got to live long enough to see the day. You could of made this a DLC and i would of paid for it.

A small additional update was just posted, fixing a few minor issues:

Version 9.0.53
  • Resolved possible overflow calculation issue with unusually high tax rates
  • Now preventing taxation from exceeding 95% overall total
  • Tech Level exponential cost increase reduced after 1980, capped at 2100
For the most part, this won't effect most players, except in modded / cheat enabled games, though the last change will reduce the growth of Research costs in high tech level regions.

what about merchant marine issue ? I meant the patting through neutral regions in CW and 2020 etc. It was high priority.

<esc> works for pause, so does <p>. You can edit your hotkeys file if you'd like to try and remap it.

"Priority" is a combination of what has a big impact on the game and what can be fixed within the time/resources we have available.

Yeah i know :) and i am sure you are working it but you are going to fix it right ? I did not meant for this update. But maybe for next update ? Because it has big impact on game ! France sends her units to Vietnam through USSR and all get destroyed. This is same for each country.

Hoping to have the fix on the next update :) just a new year wish.

I can't say what further work will be done on the project now that I'm only volunteering time, not working at the studio.

Thanks for still working on this, but I agree with burok. I don't play the CW scenario only because of the pathing. But even with that I have over 600 hours in the game (lol) and have enjoyed it very much. Keep up the good work :)

Thanks for the work guys. Still having the 24 May 1944 issue with the USA (the military AI automatically turns on and has to be turned off), but it seems to work a lot better.

Example: Playing USA, I like to trade techs to the AI, at least until 1940/41. To my surprise, the Germans had Tiger Is and Panther Ds by then--first time ever.
