Is there any possibility for fundraising regarding continued support of SRU?

This is something we've given some thought to, though it would have to meet a few criteria - first, we would need to be able to offer enough new content and features to make everyone (including us) feel good about going this route. At the same time, we would need to be able to generate enough revenue to be able to add significant resources to the SRU development to get that content out there relatively quickly.

There's certainly some possibilities, such as Expansion/DLC, crowdfunding, micro-transactions etc, but at the same time there are updates we want to get out to all our players without charging any more. And we still have new players buying the game every day on Steam.

There is actually a debate about whether weeks start and end on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday.

The ISO 8601 standard for dates specifies that a week starts with Monday, and therefore ends at Sunday night at midnight.

Saturday and Sunday are, after all, called the "week end", not the "week beginning".

- George.

PS - I know I did promise to post some details about what will be in the update as well, so I should probably do that soon ;)

You can go for a space game like pdox is doing, with their stellaris or what it was named. Or do a medieval game.

A space game was at times in early development at BattleGoat, going back about a decade (there's probably a thread about "Galactic Ruler" in the forum archives somewhere....) However other devs have since done some great work in this genre ... Galactic Civilizations, Sins of a Solar Empire, etc. And now our friends at Paradox are tackling this as well. Which is all great to see.

George Geczy wrote:A common question that comes up now that Supreme Ruler Ultimate has been released is "What's Next?" And thank you for all the positive comments and suggestions about where we could go with our game engine and future concepts.

As it turns out, however, Supreme Ruler Ultimate is (as it's name suggests :) ) the final BattleGoat "Supreme Ruler" game, at least for the time being. For the first time in 15 years, BattleGoat does not have a "next game" in our pipeline.

That's not to say we're shutting down and taking our toys and going home - we're still committed to support and updates for Supreme Ruler Ultimate, and in fact are working hard to get the next update out by late next week with more new content and fixes. Updates for Ultimate will continue into next year. We are also looking at improving our support for modding and releasing more modding tools early next year, to allow the community to take our game even further. We think that Supreme Ruler Ultimate is a great game with an meilleur taux absolutely huge amount of content, and a game engine that overcomes some significant technical challenges to allow a "whole world" real time simulation. We're very proud of the game, and we are very appreciative for the community that has supported us to allow us to bring these games to market.

It's been over thirty years since the first text-based Supreme Ruler game was released for the TRS-80, and almost exactly 15 years since we "rebooted" the franchise and started work on the PC versions. It's been a wild ride at times. Thank you to everyone that's joined us in that ride.

Note:This may sound a bit crazy. :P

Please make a final version of this game "Armageddon". It should include all prophecy wars mentioned in Islamic ,Christian,Jewish,Hindu etc religious prophecies. It should have 4 main campaigns 1.Islamic 2.Christian 3.Jewish 4.Hindu, according to their own future predictions. This game will lead this marvelous game series to a perfect end.

The other suggestion is get some ideas from your rival games like "Masters of the World - Geopolitical Simulator 3". make politics, proxy wars, diplomacy core elemtents of this game like masters of the world.

I think they tried and this game became buggy because of it. Just like GPS3 and MoftW are buggy games where your units forget 1 second later what you asked them. Just 1 of the many buggy things in those game series. Pls dont suggest things like this.
