Micro, Small, Mid

I always wondered what is the good for using those?
Why would I want to build small energy plants?
Why would I want micro or mid industrial.

Wouldn't it be better, to "upgrade"

right now to make the looks of the country better, i always scrap or destroy all small, micro and mid buildings to replace them with normal.

An "upgrade" feature would be nice.

Actually, you might want to consider removing the "small, micro and mid" completely and simply build the plants, industries, etc and simply have
a upgrade system so also the AI (since it never scraps) could upgrade it's country cheap.

Have them lvl 1, lvl2, lvl 3.. for example..
or Ext 1, Ext 2, Ext 3..

In SR2020, they had an bigger impact since production per facility was higher, while in SR1936 they only have a minimal effect on the economy.

Actaully, only benefit micro or medium have would be faster build (but at expense of space)...nothing else

Well, my thing is: "I like micro management"

And with 10 normal industrial plants at 2 specific hexes which I defend very thorough, or
100 micros spread across my country where I need to defend 10 or 15 areas in total..

anyway..

In reality, something every strategy and tactic game is trying to stick to, industries are never
build completely from the beginning..
You build small utilities.. then some upgrades.. some extensions.. more upgrades.. more extensions..
more upgrades.. additional production lines.. etc..

So I really think the micro/small/mid should disappear and get an upgrade/improve/extend option instead

Some regions can't afford to build a samll or mid right from the start particularly in '36 or '49 where economies are smaller.
