Manual Bond control

Post by Fistalis »

So I'm redoing my manual bond control mod.. still debating whether to release it as a stand alone or just include it with the modern world.

here's a little preview.

ya me either but its the best i could find without poking around for too long.. i'll eventually find something better but its a suitable placeholder for now lol
I never did figure out their exact numbering system for them so i just put numbers in until i find one i like.. (or in this instance one that didn't make the text hard to read or look out of place)

Edit: or rather i did figure it out at one time.. but its been so long im poking at it again to try to remember lol

I can always tweak it more later if it bugs me too much

Much better! Now, if only you could move "the date" one "space"( :D ) to the left

Look again was tweaking it as you typed lol

Edit: i wish it was easy as one "space bar".. im dealing with inputting pixels in number form.. IE move it 10 pixels to the left I subtract 10 pixels from the number etc

Notice the two dates that have 2 digits in the month...align them with the others

Thats BG code there.. Too lazy to correct their ****.

If you notice it centers the characters.. doesnt line them up to one side.

Part of the reason im doing it in the modern world for testing.. bigger numbers makes it easier to get properly centered.

Edit: see look this is what it will look like in a default game IE 1936 start.

Sure as long as i get a thank you listing for it this time.. only thank you i got for your old mods was the flag file

I'll probably release it as a stand alone so people who just wanna play vanilla with the bond controls can. So just mention it includes Fistalis's manual Bond control mod or whatever I name it.

And its pretty much done just trying to decide where to put the button for bonds. Here is my current working idea..
BondsButton.jpg
I'm open to other ideas but i want to avoid totally redoing the Vanilla UI and BG doesn't leave much "white space" for me to work with. I could always create a custom bar just for my UI buttons somewhere.. but not sure How i feel about that. IE like the message bar that sits on the left side of the screen only smaller and somewhere else.

I'm really tempted to try to reskin the whole UI.. its great for a WW2 game but i hate looking at it in the modern world mod. Make it all look like smart phones and tabletss
