Game will not start

Hello,
I've tried just about everything to get the game to start, everything from deleting and reinstalling the game to troubleshooting with different versions. It refuses to start, staying at a blank or black screen not responding. I don't understand what else I can do, please help?

I've tried to install the newest intel driver, but my computer apparently hates it and I do have NVIDIA GeForce as well. I've also seen that SR Great War works while Ultimate does not.

Which NVIDIA card are you running? We haven't updated the game in a few years, but I always get nervous that a graphics card manufacturer will change something in a newer drier that conflicts with the game.

I'm not the best at computer things, but I think its NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU. Not sure where to find it other than that.

Hi, I've got the same card and installed todays driver and the game works for me. I do have an AMD CPU though. I updated to a NVIDIA driver that only came out today so maybe its worth giving it an update and another go?

The CPU won't matter. We have lost of users on both Intel and AMD processors.

In the game manual's troubleshooting section, it suggests;

Launch game with the '-window' parameter to resets the graphics.

Have you tried that? Here's a screenshot of what the General Settings options would look like;

I had the options activated, and then I tried the -window part and it still gave me a black screen but windowed. And I'm using that driver as well.

At this point I'm unsure what more we could suggest. We have determined that the video card is compatible and no one else is reporting an issue like this. Based on all this, we have no reason to believe the game software is the source of the problem.

Alright, thanks for helping. I'll troubleshoot some more and see if anything works. I'll let you know if I get it up and running again.
