Does AI ever builds missile production facilities?

So far I have not seen AI building any missile production facilities in my games. Usually I start playing in '36. AI nations research missile techs and can build missile production but they don't.

Anyone seen AI building missile production or do we have a problem??? :-(

Is it rly a problem if ai doesnt even know if it can use the missle, but just blind build them?

I mean why not start at the basics. Tons of useless missles are being made in modern campaigns that the country in question cant even use.

Never is a big word i guess, but yeah ai is too dumb to figure out if it can use the missle, just research/build them and then it cant even use it. Missles were a real pain for you in SR2020, but didnt find that challenge in SRU, because missles are hardly used by ai.

But those are big claims i should back up. Ill try to see in my saved games if i can show you when i have the time.
I remember on steam a discussion about UK building nuclear weapons they cant even use, and the missles they use in rl are imported from US so not in game for UK.

Im sorry for going off topic, but yeah in 2300 hrs SRU i never saw ai build missle fabrications. Alot of air fabrications tho, but usually its too late because they dont preserve tanks and infantry.

In my game I still have not seen AI using missiles at all.

Moreover, AI tends to build missiles with nuclear warheads only. In 1957 AI controlled USSR builds only 100kt nuclear bombs although SSN-2-styx and Luna2 missiles are researched also. Tried tweaking AI paramas file to no effect.

By the way, which lines in AIPARAMAS file are used for weighting missiles? There are empty missile lines (is this error?) between air and naval unit lines and separate missile lines before reaction lines which are filled...

The other problem - every missile have one red dot AI build preferance, so I guess that makes AI reluctant to build any of them. So, V-2 has one red dot build preference in '45. There is something terribly wrong with missiles!

I have seen and continue to see the AI use missiles. What the AI will not do is use nuclear weapons. If it only produces nukes, they will never get used.

And missile production is hardcoded? We can not mod AI to build less air launch and nuclear missiles?

The line says: Missile build weighting - the filtering of what launch-platform types to build is set in build code. Here we just worry about the targets.
So launch platform and nuclear warheads coul'd not be modded in or out...

P.S.S. and what are these two lines between Heli-offense and intercept-defense?
