Weak Maginot Line
Maginot Line is full of Emplacments(unit ID 21225) and can't be fortified, you can easily overrun France as Germany due to this issue, maybe you should use Military Fortresses (unit ID 21350)?

BG was provided the right data to achieve this - update clearly needed, in last short-game as Germany, same result.

Re: Weak Maginot Line
In general, France doesn't put garrisons in them.
Perhaps it is time for a new unit--Fortress Troops. Same fighting strength as an INF unit, but 0 movement. Put them there at the start (and at Gibraltar, Singapore, Malta, Istanbul, Panama Canal, Sevastapol, etc.).

Re: Weak Maginot Line
It looks like they have put an building at the center instead of an complex, little like if you put an IG instead of an town , since emplacements are seen around military complexes.
EDIT: Info on other defensive lines, magiot is the most famous due to the ineffecivness it showed in the end, built to prevent invasion which wasn't preventet

Re: Fortress Troops
Fortress Troops (Infantry) were recommended to be included in SR-Cold War (SR-49), because of places like Sevastopol (etc.) but was rejected by BG as not being a part of the "Cold War" infantry (pathways used to represent Communist and Free World infantry units).....maybe they will bring it back with earlier assigned ratings (which were largely based on German Fortress troops and a bit of Russian/Soviet included).Aragos wrote:In general, France doesn't put garrisons in them.

And historically accurate, as the French (and Belgians, as well as the Germans) had specialized reserve troops just for that mission.
Speed = 0 and they won't move.
