Crash on Save

Upon the second autosave the game crashes. First file saves fine. I can sometimes do a manual save when I start the game but then when I save later is crashes.

Thoughts? Ideas?

I've changed the folder permissions. Started new games to the same result.

Running windows 8.1 via Parallels on a mac.

I am saving to the local C drive in the Steam folder. But it happens to other folders as well.

I can't seem to figure it out.

Update:
Tried running as Admin. No luck.
Tried saving when paused. Nope.
Tried renaming. No
Started several new games.


Update #2:
I did a complete delete and reinstall. Which let me autosave every 7 days until late 1937 and now back to the 1kb issue save file crash.

Ideas?

Same problem.....different software (VMware instead of Parallels)...also MacBook Pro.

Several examples of this sent BG...only response was that it was a crash at Save Game effort....
knew that already!....that is why Save Game files were sent to BG.
WHY the crashing on Save Game effort?

Clearly a programming problem for MAC's.

Suggest you send them your Save Game files by email.

It crashes with the newest version as well. I tried a three new games.
