Clicking on orbital launch pad reasearch option crashes the game.

When its in the reasearch menu i double clicked on it to see the infomation but then my game crashes.

So it is actively researching? What's the color on the bar?

I have the same bug , but I don't have the prereqs researched, was just looking through the different techs I click on orbital launch pad tech and ctd reloaded last save and tried it again and ctd

I just clicked on it in the new tech viewer in the top right corner , and did not have the prereqs like I said , have not noticed on any other ctd issues

I just tried this and it worked fine for me.

What region? Campaign, sandbox or scenario?

it was sandbox as usa , but I just started a new game , and its not doing it now on the new game . but when I reload my old save game if I click on that tech in the viewer ctd

Sounds like this was fixed in an update. You should abandon the savegame that crashes.

update on my new game ... my version is 8.0.14 , I can research the orbital launch pad tech by clicking the green button but ,
if I double click were it says orbital launch pad in the research viewer or in the queue ctd .
just like op , any ideas?

You've reported cases of not crashing and cases of crashing. We'll need help determining the difference between the two cases.

Do you have a savegame where it's in the queue that if you double click it crashes? Send me one like that and I can test it right away.

Please zip it and include ticket 18389 in the subject line.
