French Sphinx known design (split from Unit Errata)

French have the Sphinx unit researched around 193x rather then around 2011 which the tech level would suggest.

I'm not seeing it. They don't have it researched at the start and I can't find an event that gives it to them.

I split it from the other thread which is for unit errata, meaning errors on unit stats/properties. Stuff like this (known designs) will get lost in that thread.

They must research it pretty quickly as I bought the unit design from France around 1939. Savegame file where I have the unit in 1939 and am building lots of them. It also seems to be the one of the contributing reasons Germany has so much trouble fighting against France.

huh, turns out it was errata. The Sphinx has no tech prereqs. Fixed for next update.

So I modified my DEFAULT.UNIT file removing the Sphinx unit design all together and Germany did far better against France than in my previous games.

this also happens with the UK--they get the Lynx helicopter at start. My guess is that it has no preques as well.
