There may be too few random events in the game. I've only see diplomatic incidents and industrial miscalculation events. Would it be possible to add more events, like nuclear power plant leaks, bridge collapsings, earthquakes.

Possible, yes, but it takes a lot of time to set them all up. Plus making them "random" takes a series of cascading events that might or might not trigger based on when they check for the triggers.

Is it hard-code? or is it moddable??

Once SRGW is released, I might be able to do a tutorial on how to add "one random event set" then players could submit line batches to us for addition in the game...

hmm, I might have been thinking of different "events" the the OP was talking about. I see what you mean.

The truly "random events" that occur based on the lobby setting are not moddable.

I've done some playing with scripted events to create sequences of events that may or may not occur each time you play a certain sandbox.
