Simplicity and Cooperation
Can you guys please make it simpler to select units you need based on their class. It's easy to choose them when you want to build a specific class of unit, but when to comes to selecting you have to scroll down a long list especially when you have a large army. Also, I'd love to see defense ties have like joint training between two nations like US and Japan or China and Russia. Oh and being allowed to have bases in your allies country and allowing an ally or two to have a base in your country as well. And embassies, shouldn't they serve more of a purpose?

How do you suggest we make it easier? What should it look like? How should it function?Zetangi wrote:Can you guys please make it simpler to select units you need based on their class...

Not to jump on someone else's post, but in regards to making selecting units easier here are some suggestions from me. In SR2020 when you right clicked on a barracks, airfield, or naval yard "Reserves" was an option that showed up. When you selected that it showed all the units in reserve there. That was a handy feature not present in SR Ultimate.
Another nice feature that would be handy would be to have all units in a Battle Group to be able to able to come out from reserve with one click. Good for rapid mobilization, rather than hunting for wherever they went when you told the Battle Group to reserve, and sometimes they go to different barracks or air fields especially if they are combined arms like Marine formations that have air, land, and sea units? So from the Battle Group under the Defense Tab when you select a Battle Group if they are deployed they are all highlighted and available for orders. But if they are in reserve you have to select each one, but still no option to deploy it unless you highlight the base it is at, click on the appropriate type of unit (land, air, or sea unit) and deploy from there and then hunt down the other bases they might have reserved or repaired too.
And finally to be able to create more than 98 Battle Groups would be great.

If you select the group and tell them to move somewhere, they will all deploy. Just make sure they are active selected.Tnarg wrote:Another nice feature that would be handy would be to have all units in a Battle Group to be able to able to come out from reserve with one click...

Similar to when you pick a unit to build by clicking on it's class and having a scroll down menu. So for Navy there'd be Submarine, Transport, Capital Ships, etc with the specific units underneath.Balthagor wrote:How do you suggest we make it easier? What should it look like? I think SR2020 interface was better than the current, all the controls were more intuitive, it takes getting used to but I think a novel player in this interface is lost.
