Is AI capable unpausing building repairs?

Not sure if it is bug or it just takes time to fix it self but I recently encountered a situation where during conquest of Hungary I paused some of the buildings being repaired to preserve ind goods. The problem occured when Hungary fell and I decided to colonize them, all the paused building repaires remained paused and I can't unpause them for the AI. Will those buildings remain paused for ever?

yes, they will remain paused for ever. As the AI wasn't taught to pause construction, the need to teach it to unpause never came up.

Maybe make some kind of "reset" in case of these occurances (land changing hands) should be present? Or is this "problem" considered totally irrelevant?

while I agree that unpausing would be a low priority. restarting should be higher up on the list. I have had many games when the AI captures a hex and the buildings are damaged. Then when the building is finished repairing it goes into offline mode because the country does not have enough manpower or power to start the structure up.
