I think it would be easy enough, and if it isn't why not just make those lines that show where the unit is headed not disappear that would be relatively easy

Nope, needs a bunch of code. It's a feature, like any other, that needs development time and gets assigned a priority like anything else.

hmm well an interesting feature for the future though, But there is probably a bunch of cool stuff higher on the list, anyway great to see what you guys would come up with next :wink:

Imagine issuing an order where before going from A to B the units pass through points C and D that you specified, perhaps then flying around the enemy AA cluster instead of straight through it...

So then a naval battle group would not have its ADA escorts 10 or more hexes away from its carriers or battleships.

I don't see how this is related to waypoints, you can already use "move in formation" and "move at common speed" to keep groups moving together.

This needs to be added! The naval and air parts of the game would benefit immensly.
