NASAMS
I see that you have a unit ingame called Bamse NASAMS.
I've searched the web for this unit but I can't seem to find it so I'm wondering if this is a fictional unit, or a unit which uses the NASAMS weapons sytem?
If not, could you make this unit?

Thanks for the link, I will further update that unit. It was added in an earlier update and the BAMSE NASAMS is no longer part of the list, It was changed to be MIM-120 for the US version (that is a fictional name)
As for the Norweigan version, at the time I could not find information as to what it was mounted on so I simply but it on a BV-206 chassis. My mistake, that's Swedish, not Norwiegan.
Anyway, I'll make some changes to it but it may be too late for the next update, I've finished my work on the equipment file for the next update and am testing bug fixes...

I'm confused. The only unit with name BAMSE in the equipment list is the RBS-23 and that is the designation that it actually carries.Lasse wrote:...Why are they called 'bamse NASAMS' though? 'Teddy bear NASAMS'? Some sort of internal joke?

There is no BAMSE NASAMS...

I don't have the game (yet), I was just going from what the other guy said. I reacted to the name because 'bamse' is Norwegian (and Swedish) for 'teddy bear'. Funny that the swedes actually named theirs that.Balthagor wrote:I'm confused. Now that I've been made clear that there's an equipment list;
* The P-961 Storm is set to 69 km/h on your list, while its sister ship Skjold is assigned the more accurate 100 km/h - they're the same, they can't have different specs.

I have to disagree on this, they are radically different with teh Skjold using the latest in stealth technology;Lasse wrote:...The P-961 Storm ... Skjold ... they're the same...

Can't find a public link to the data but the "storm" in question was built in 1963;
Propulsion
2 Maybach type MB 872A version of the MTU 16V538 TB90 diesel; 7,200 bhp; 2 shafts
Performance
speed 37 knots
range 550 nm at 36 kts
I believe this Storm class was redesigns as the Skjold.

has a bit of data on the Storm class from original version to the Skjold.

The old Storm had the hull number P-960 - the new has the number P-961. Atleast fix that.Balthagor wrote:I have to disagree on this, they are radically different with teh Skjold using the latest in stealth technology;Lasse wrote:...The P-961 Storm ... Skjold ... they're the same...
