Add Monaco and Liechtenstein to SR1936

#1 Post by Xoo » Sep 22 2014

Well, I read histories from wiki:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Monaco > Read "Sovereignty"
While Prince Louis II's sympathies were strongly pro-French, he tried to keep Monaco neutral during World War II but supported the Vichy French government of his old army colleague, Marshall Philippe Pétain.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Liechtenstein > Read "Liechtenstein during the World Wars"
During World War II, Liechtenstein remained neutral, while family treasures within the war zone were brought to Liechtenstein (and London) for safekeeping. At the close of the conflict, Czechoslovakia and Poland, acting to seize what they considered to be German possessions, expropriated the entirety of the Liechtenstein dynasty's hereditary lands and possessions in Bohemia, Moravia, and Silesia — the princes of Liechtenstein lived in Vienna until the Anschluss of 1938
I know they are just very small nations, but still they can do, about same way for Gibraltar's nation. Just give them nations in SR1936 for next patch/update, thanks :P

And a other way:

I see it mays impossible to conquer the Channel Islands in Northern France:

Guernesey and Jersey since they have no port in SR1936, normally they should to have small ports..

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Occupation ... el_Islands
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Guernsey > Look "World War II"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Jersey > Look "20th Century" > "Occupation 1940-1945"

The problem with missing small nation is not that the devs are ignorant of their existance, or that they are too small. The problem is the engine limit of 255 (or some number close to this) nations per map. When they hit that target, it comes to decision which "small" country was less important for certain scenario and that one gets "eliminated"...
