when is the next updace scheduled for release?

And are we finally going to see some diplomacy tweaks in next update? I just can't get rid of the feeling that diplomatic part of this great game is neglected for far too long time...

On the short term try very easy diplo difficulty. I found it makes inter-sphere alliances possible.
