What stuff can be captured by winning against an oponent?

Ive seen equipment of the surrendered nation is captured but how much do you get?
Do you capture the known tech as well? As a historical example the Germans got 2 good tank types by capturing the Tchecks.
They renamed the Pz35 and Pz38. And also continued to build Pz38 and later Hetzer and other types using the Pz38 chassie at ther Skoda Plant. Lets say the tjechs have researched the 38 tank but not yet built any, can the germans start to build them? As they are a little better PzI and probably PzII aswell. I havent checked if the Tjechs got them in the game but the example is still valid I guess.

Are there random chance to steal tech directly bu capturing an enemy research center during war and before the enemy surrender?

Do you get more or less stuff if you make the to a colony and if so do they continue research?

Germany did have a big advantage of capturing the tjechs tanks and their designes and probably made them ready earlier for war(they thought any way) to attack Poland in sept -39 already.

You can capture equipment that is damaged, etc. but not designs.

If you want to try to capture as much as possible, avoid attacking barracks, etc. The AI will pull damaged units into repair and when the country falls, you get them. Same with air and naval.
