Did you know that Supreme Ruler is one of the oldest continuous game franchises in existence?
Well, if you had read our Kickstarter page closely then you'd already know that, but it doesn't hurt to mention it again
The first Supreme Ruler game was a text-based game made for the TRS-80 microcomputer, running in a whopping 32K of memory, and it first shipped in early 1983.
Want to play it for yourself? Well, it turns out that we've re-connected with Ira Goldklang, who runs a web site that preserves TRS-80 programs and information. And for those of you without a TRS-80 in your closet, there are PC emulators available too!
You can check out the site at: http://www.trs-80.com/wordpress/
And the next time somebody tells you that they think that Civilization is the oldest game series, tell them "p'shah!" (or whatever exclamatory sound you choose) and point them to Supreme Ruler.
