So this had to be asked eventually.. who will the leader of Germany be? (may sound like an easy question until you ask yourself if you want the sale of the game to be legal in Germany)

To my understanding, the objection is to swastikas, not to images of Hitler, when it comes to sales in Germany.

All they gota do is make sure it is historically accurate and they can even include swastikas.

Personally I think it would be more offensive if they did not put Hitler as the German leader.

Talking of leaders, If I choose to play as the 3rd Reich, will I replace Hitler as the Furher like in the previous games? If not, no matter we can change avatar and name but I just wanted to know. Will the pics be Black and white and authentics or home made like in SRCW?

Chris had mentioned swastikas and I think it's part of the criminal code to not use them in Germany.

The rating system doesn't allow it too I think.

The German version which has the swastikas removed is legal. (a long with some other changes to get by the German censors.) As well as replacing an image of hitler in the game with a luftwaffe officer.

Yes, we will continue to use the engine we have developed over the last 13 years. But yes, we will have new items. We keep pushing into 3D areas, so there will be more improvements visually. And our list of ideas is immense in size. We aim to recreate the WW2 era with events and continue to improve gameplay experience.

That is just ridiculous. Why cant we face history and accept what happened has happened. Denying it or hiding it will just allow it to happen again.
