Collectors Edition

Post by Kaiser »

Will there be one? I can't remember if anything like this was done before, but I would pay for a collectors edition.

Thanks, that is a compliment for sure!

If we were to release a collectors edition, what would you want to see in it?

A battlegoat (I need a second one), A signed box and or poster, D-day invasion plans, A future unit named after the person. And maybe something hard like a 1936 coin.

I love the idea about plan, but one of each big theaters would be more appropriate(WW2 is world, not west europe)

A detailed poster/fold-out with terrain, bonuses, unit symbols, unit types, keyboard short cuts.

A detailed manual that includes a techology tree.

A player's guide for the new player and a strategy guide for the major powers.

I personally would want to see a miniature german tiger tank. Perhaps there could be different collectors editions that you could choose from? One have a miniature T34, one having a miniature Bismarck, yamato etc...

Thats my idea.

I would vote for a land map with military targets (European and/or world), a miniature-sized tank modell - but one of the designed, but not constructed one, perhaps the Panzerkampffwagen VIII Maus.
Of course, I would also take a Me 262 (or Me-264) would also find my acceptance. :-)
A (fictive) medal like the "Order of the BattleGoat" (cheap metal) and a complete tech tree with small images indicating each tech would be nice.

How about miniature canadian units like the Grizzly I cruiser or the Skink anti-aircraft tank

*Massive awsome poster
*Huge amount of customizable keyboard shourt cuts, similar to a keyboard macro system, but virtual in-game system
*Strategy guide for small countries(like playing small countries vs large :P )
*A Battlegoat is a must!

Remember, european availablility!

Of course, this is very important.

A BattleGoat would be fine, but I prefer a piece of military hardware such as the tank (Ruges proposal or mine or something else)- with BattleGoat markings!

A coin would be really cool.
