Auto Deployment

Hi!

I just bought this game, and I am completely new to these kind of strategy games.

I've played Cold War with the USA, but regardless of what I do, my naval units seem to be auto deploying. I've got +30 destroyers jammed up the Great Lakes area for no reason. How do you turn auto deployment completely off?
