Updating error

Recently I had to re install Cold war and since my saves were only compatible with 7.3.1 i downloaded the update on http://www.bgforums.com/forums/viewtopi ... 63&t=21081 and the when I launch the updater it says "Nothing to Update", can some one please help me fix this issue?

When you launch the game, what version number does it show at the bottom left of the main menu?

The version is 7.2.2, it's the version I got right after downloading steam.

You'll have to wait for steam to update their version...can't believe they still didn't

EDIT: though, someone did mention here on forum a way of applying the update to steam version manually...try the search function
