[Bug] Crash when launching game

I recently purchased SRCW on Steam, and it worked fine the first few times, no problems. However, I went to launch it the other day, and the menu didn't appear on the load screen, and the program became unresponsive. I tried purging local content and re-downloading and installing SRCW, but this has not worked.

Is there any known fix for this bug?

There is no such known bug. So an uninstall/reinstall did not solve the problem? Have you used the "verify integrity" setting in the steam client?

*Click run
*Type in "dxdiag"
*Save the log file
