Your missing the BCOF (British Commonwealth Occupation Forces) Japan from 1946-1952 when they became the Commonwealth Forces Korea until the of the war. The BCOF was based at Shimane, Yamagucuchi, Tottori, Okayama, Hiroshima and the Island of Shikoku. They were one of the first responders in Korea. BCOF ground forces included the 9th & 34th Australian Infantry Brigades (3 btn ea), the New Zealand 2nd Expeditionary Force (2 Inf btn & 1 armoured car sqn/btn), the British 5th Inf Brgade (3 btn) and the Indian 268th Infantry Brigade (1 British and 2 Indian btn) plus arty and support units. BCOF air forces included the 1 sqn P51D Mustangs (RAAF), 1 sqn F4U Corsairs (RNZAF), 3 sqns Spitfires (RAF) and 1 sqn Spitfires (RIAF). Naval forces were made up from units from the British Pacifc Fleet with units from Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom consisting of carriers, crusiers, destroyers, frigates, submaines, corvetes and auxillary ships plus the associated carrier air groups. The BPF was based in southern Japan, Manus PNG and Sydney Australia.

The USAREUR/7th US Army should be located in the US Zone in southern Germany not the British Zone in northern Germany. USAREUR HQ was/is located in Heidelberg (x869,y157) with corps HQ's at Frankfurt (x864,y153) and Stuttgart (x873,y160). In 1949 US forces consisted of the 1st Infantry Division (9 inf, 1 armd, 3 A/T and 6 arty btn) in southern Germany, 1 ind inf rgt (3 inf btns) in Bremen (x866,y138) and 9 Constabulary rgts (3 M8 Greyhound btns ea). Five of the Constabulary rgts were located on the Soviet Zone/Czech border from Fulda (x874,y151) to Regensburg (x889,y159), three on the French Zone border and one in the US occupation zone in Austria.

BAOR should be located at Beilefeld/Rheindahlen (x866,y144), Niedersachsen not Schleswig-Holstein. In 1949 the British and Canadians had 7 Armoured Division, 2 Infantry Division and 27 Canadian Infantry Brigade (3 inf btns). 7 AD was based in Onsnabrück (x863,y142), 2 ID was at Solingen (x859,y147) and 27 CIBG was at Hannover (x872,y142) and RAF Germany should be located at Gutersloh (x865,y144).
