Foreign units stacking/moving around rampage
I'm playing as Greece in Modern World mod, and all countries with whom I have any transit treaties are starting to move into my territory with no reason whatsoever. After 1 year majority of my territory is stacked with foreign units, both naval, land and air.
I try to cancel the treaty of the full transit but it stays red all the time.
This crazy AI is sucking a lot performance, and eventually game slows down so much that I have to wait for 5 min per day.
Any ideas of how solve this issue?
PS. latest patch installed 7.2.2

Re: Foreign units stacking/moving around rampage
This is a known problem in version 7.2.2.
It is greatly improved for update 3 which is currently in beta. Discussion about the update 3 beta can be found here

Be warned that Modern World is not compatible with any of the beta updates....Aigars1993 wrote:Thank you!Balthagor wrote:This is a known problem in version 7.2.2.

Not sure what bug are you referring to... Can you elaborate on that?Aigars1993 wrote:That's great, should wait then.number47 wrote:Fistalis said he will update his mod when official update 3 comes out...Aigars1993 wrote:Oh crap! But why?

Sure
It is on diplomacy treaty screen, ex. CANCEL TRADE AGREEMENT or CANCEL FULL TRANSIT TREATY.
And when I try to cancel it, the AI approval of the deal is in red all the time.
So I cannot cancel single treaty and only way to cancel it is to break all the ties with the region.

That's WAD. Colonies will accept whatever you tell them even if it's read. That's the only place this can be used. AI regions simply don't want to cancel the treaties. It would require more rules on when they should accept to break a treaty but if they like the treaty why should the just let you out of it?

There is a "cut all ties/relations" button (or something like that) when you are in the screen where you declare war ( I know the instruction sucks but I just can't explain it better without presenting a picture )Aigars1993 wrote:Sure

I'll post a picture when I get home...the only thing is it will cut all agreements...

I know where it is and how it works, but you cannot cancel single agreement, can you?number47 wrote:There is a "cut all ties/relations" button (or something like that) when you are in the screen where you declare war ( I know the instruction sucks but I just can't explain it better without presenting a picture )Aigars1993 wrote:Sure

For example, I got tired of seeing allied troops moving around my territory like crazy, so I just want to cancel ONLY transit treaty with the troop's region. But i can't and forced to cut all ties which is clearly rediculus.

Re: Foreign units stacking/moving around rampage
That's your opinion. why should country X cancel a treaty they like? Why should a region be able to cancel one part of one treaty without repercussions?
This has been debated before BTW. It would be best to dig up the old thread an revive one of those discussions, we're off topic here.

I have said that cancel treaty from both sides, like in SR 2020! Not to cancel one part only!Balthagor wrote:That's your opinion. why should country X cancel a treaty they like? Why should a region be able to cancel one part of one treaty without repercussions?

Where did I say that region be able to cancel one part of one treaty without repercussions, where did you find that?
If I do not wish to have free trade with country X anymore, but wish to have only embassy with X, why I cannot cancel the free trade treaty?
And I'm forced to cancel ALL the agreements after which diplomatic relations become very bad???
