Not sure what you mean by this :P

I'd say economy is...easy (on a scale:very hard, hard, normal, easy, very easy). Ind goods, consumer goods go scarce very early in the game so the player can make good profit there. No one in the world (apart from USA) has engineer units already researched? Hmm... And I dislike that I have to almost "land man on the moon" to unlock advanced communication tech that is necessary window to modern units :P
But in all, as a whole, I like it

you still have countries showing imaginary enemies. This was "reported" long time ago, you didn't manage to track the issue or just forgot about it? :P

Am I correct to assume you created your tech tree modifications long time before Update 3 and simply due to the amount of changes you made, you never "synchronized" it with Update 3 (mainly 3.7) tech tree corrections and fixes? :D

Yup, it takes too much time to sync files as you call it :)

sync, consolidate, whatever...I suspected this was the reason why I needed to "land the man on the moon" to unlock modern techs since this was "corrected" by BG in some of the later updates

I love it my main problem is that it is SLOW. Any suggestions on how to speed it up?

Yeah, thats pretty much the gist of things, there is no immidiate in-game sollution, except for kill the armies of the super powers + DPRK :-) . For the next update (v1.13.x), which will be a bigger update, I'm considering adding a 'infantry free' scenario, where the Regular, Militia, Socialist Militia, national guard and coscript units would be deactivated, which are the big reason why the game is laggy for many. On the negative side, I might have to scrap the Early Apocalypse scenario, since upkeeping 2 scenarios and a campaign is already time consuming enough, not to say adding a 3 scenario.

My question is would people be ok with exchanging the Early Apocalypse for an 'Infantry Free' Scenario? :-)

Reeeeallly???

This is the first "slow" comment I've heard in a while. 7.3.7 seemed to deal with the speed issues. If you have a "slow" savegame, please zip and email it to me. I realize it's a mod, but I would still like to see it.

You reeeeallly haven't played this mod, have you? :D
Vanilla is "great" concerning speed, Modern World is "good", and this mod is "slow". I believe we can all agree on this statement.

I disagree.. I'm consistently still trying to find ways to improve it. I mean 15 second days to start isn't horrible but it does get much slower as time goes by. (as a matter of fact I spent a few hours reviewing the OOB and removing units that Countries have in storage from it to improve it yesterday)
