  1. Goto C:\Program Files\Paradox Interactive\Supreme Ruler Cold War\Graphics and backup UGBITS4.png
  2. Goto C:\Program Files\Paradox Interactive\Supreme Ruler Cold War\Graphics\Meshes and backup DEFAULT.PICNUMS
  3. Download the zip file above and copy the contents to C:\Program Files\Paradox Interactive\Supreme Ruler Cold War
  4. Overwrite any files it asks you about
  5. Launch the game and start a new sandbox Cold War Natoc game :)
To Play with the default units again just start a new game using the default Cold War campaign/ sandbox option.

very good, just by looking at the pics it reminds me old table wargames I used to play soo long ago.

But... I don't like very much the white background of the counters. Maybe something like gold or steel with a thin black canvas? Or something alike...

I'm planning on experimenting with different colours for backgrounds and around the counters in future versions.

Originally I was going to go with blue, as blue is used on Nato symbols to signify friendly units. But it would look weird having all on map units blue when not all were friendly.

DMCA them, your well within your right if your that upset, or ask them to take it down, if they refuse, then have them for it since you did not give them permission to distribute.

Don't tear 'em up too bad. If they found the mod, they're an avid player, too.

Any changes on game speed? Sometimes games gets faster with "lower resolution/quality" sprites.

Haven't timed my days since I made this, my pc is decent spec so doubt it would be much difference for me. But lower spec pc's may see improvements, would make sense though with the new textures being less detailed, but on the other hand the default ones may be better optimised, dependent on gpu and not cpu, etc therefore not effecting speed.

Try timing your days before and after installing the mod, would be interesting to know. :-)

Am actually working on another mod that may help with game speed, it's a "brigade" sized land units mod, should have a no units version done in the next couple of days if I get chance.

*bump*

Recently downloaded this and really liked it. At first i thought the icons on map were way to big, but combined with the scaling mod from fistalis' webpage, it was perfect.

Only problem i noticed was that the choosen country was not the one you ended up with, so i had to try around a bit to find the proper country i wanted to play :).

But anyway - i now was wondering how i could combine this mod with Fistalis' Shattered World port from 2020. My noob experimentations left me with a scenario that had 0 nations to choose from :/. I guess im' not as clever as i thought i was.

So now i'm here asking for help :D

Trebor never updated his mod after update 2. SO the issue is actually caused by having the latest update. (remember what happened to the default scenarios with update 2, you guys had to fix the same issue)

Yea i got the latest version, and i guess this mod is pretty old (but nonetheless pretty sweet :P).

Since i managed to lure you in this thread, fistalis, i don't suppose i can somehow convince you to make it work with your "shattered world" scenario? :)

I have no intentions of digging into graphical mods if I don't have to. :D
Shattered world has its own issues I'm working to fix.
