Was documenting the implementation of the HUD in 7.3.1 and saw ways to modify it so spent my Saturday morning on this. There are some quirks, most notable is that the engine shifts the GUI element left by 5 pixels ever time a unit is deployed because the old bar size was 10 pixels meaning it stayed centered on the unit as the size changed. I've compensated for it somewhat but a hex with 1 unit will have the HUD too far right at high zoom and a hex with 20+ units will have a HUD that is running off the left side by a lot.

It changes the HUD in an attempt to improve on it. See the OP for some pictures.

Nice! Like the huds mod, adding it to my mod :) . Really like when zoomed out and the units positions are showed correctly

Still some issues with that due to how it was coded but yes, I feel it's an improvement. Thanks for trying it!

Mod #1 should probably be removed, it's now part of the updates

Mod #2 is only needed for small resolutions

Mod #3 and #4 are compatible with 7.3.1.

#1 and #4 are now part of the official updates. 2/3 should work fine. Remind me periodically about this thread, I should clean up the OP.

It seems like Battlegroup Controls no longer works with the new update.
