I would change Gold Coast in Ghana after indipendence...
no you can either change it in the data files which would require a recache, or you can change it in the localization files which just controls the display name.
thanks anyway...also if I'm thinking to try event #8 goald coast to ghana...but ok...

While technically feasible you would need to create a separate entry in the CVP for the new country. Recache, Spawn troops for you new country, declare war between the 2 so the new country takes land, then run event 8 to have the old country surrender to the new country.

For all that..you get a name change at a specific time... Not worth it IMO.

(this is similar to how i create rebel factions/ factions that don't exist on the map in the modern world mod, and ppl wonder why i dont add tons more.)

Edit: you also have to have them declare independence in there somewhere or their AI might not function forget which step though would have to look at my files.

Yes but in that case an already existing nation is annexing a region.

Updated some of the links in OP,
Just wanted to note that new events have been added to the wiki which open up new options or at the very least reduce the amount of work needed to create some scenarios. These events were added in udpate 3 but were unknown to us til now

I'm still really busy but I had that on my list to-do. Gotta support our modders :)

But could also be useful here...

Maybe quote the OP into a new thread for the new projects?
