Name: Capitão Pascoal Humberto de Souza Branco
Age: 30
Place of birth: Marseille (France)
Background:Born in January 1919 in French port of Marseille, son of a Brazilian soldier and a French nurse. His father was a part of a Brazilian Medical Mission during WWI as a security officer. Stationed in Marseille he fell in love with a French nurse that was stationed in the same hospital. Pascoal was born just a few days before the Medical Mission was terminated in February 1919. His parents took him back to Brazil to his father’s hometown Ponta Grossa (Paraná). Pascoal attended and graduated at the Technical School of Curitiba. In 1942, the fate brought him back to Europe as he was mobilized as a First Sergent into Brazilian Expeditionary Force. He was wounded in his left shoulder during Battle of Monte Castello 1944 but no permanent damage was done. During his WWII campainy, he advanced to the rank of Aspirant officer. For his involvement and actions in Battles of Monte Castello and Collecchio he was awarded
Blood Of Brazil Medal and
Brazilian Combat Cross Second Class. After the war, Pascoal remained in the military and further progressed to the rank of First Lieutenant. In 1949 he advanced to the rank of Captain (Capitão) in Brazilian Army. At the same time, he started to involve himself more extensively in politics. His stands are neutral but very social sensitive. He sees Brazil as a rising power and wants to ensure his country’s success without aligning to any of the 2 superpowers.
Agenda:As an engineer by his original profession, Pascoal believes Brazil needs to invest heavily in infrastructure to progress and he advocates full infrastructure spending. Also, first step to achieving higher infrastructure rating would be building air base in the capital city, Rio de Janeiro.
EDIT: GrimReaper, I just realized I used your hometown for my character (his father's hometown),
