Transporting land-based planes

Does anyone know of a way to transport land-based planes using cargo ships or any other means over long distances? For example from South America to the middle east.

There is no way to do it in vanilla but there was a mod around here on the forums called "Orders mod" which gave you the possibility of doing exactly what you are asking for.
