Re: Selling units
They likely lack the reserves needed to deploy the unit. Try to give them money so they can afford to increase their military spending, or else sign an agreement with them (mutual defense, full alliance) so that you can support them via proxy instead.

If you are not using "diplomatic merchant marine" in game options, than barkauer is right. So, check if it is ticked off.Alexsej wrote:I am playing as USSR and i have sold some units to North Vietnam, but I dont see them using in war with south Vietnam.

Re: Selling units
The "diplomatic merchant marine" is ON.
The units that I sold are still on my territory, and they are not moving.
I tried to transport some other units to N. Vietnam, but then I can't sell them because I can only sell units that are in reserve.

Does NVN still have ports/piers? They usually lose them to France pretty quickly.Alexsej wrote:The "diplomatic merchant marine" is ON.

Re: Selling units
Protip- Turn it off next time you start a game.Alexsej wrote:The "diplomatic merchant marine" is ON.
Its really a great option they just never worked out the kinks. I would prefer to play with it ON but in its current state I can't suggest it. (if the AI would refuse units they couldn't get to their territory it would be fine)

Re: Selling units
Than the NV has no ports left and pobably has no land transit with China so the units can't find a way to get there. As Fistalis said, don't use "diplo MM" in the new game since even though a good idea, it's executed poorly.Alexsej wrote:The "diplomatic merchant marine" is ON.
