Update 3.7 Available

Update 3.7 (Version 7.3.7) is available for download;

Update 3 contains all previous updates.

Changes:
- Unit HUDs redesigned
- Some fixes to scripted event engine and individual events
- Fixed 'Capture' victory condition
- Multiplayer code improvements and fixes
- Fixes in tech tree
- Fixes in News texts
- Fixes in Scenarios
- Fixes in Orbats
- Fixes in Equipment Data
- Some new units added
- Some new unit models added

Just some notes on this update, this didn't get a full version number change as the focus was to fix some of the stuff that couldn't be completed in time for version 7.3.1 or was found after release. The update isn't linked into the auto update system yet, we would appreciate if users could tell us if we broke anything. We've done some testing and all looks good but a few more sets of eyes would be helpful.

This update does bring development for Supreme Ruler Cold War to an end. All development from this point forward will focus on Supreme Ruler 1936.

Will this now effortlessly apply to each and every distribution form of the game or does it require the same potential steps as update 3?

This is not an official release yet so may not work with all versions. Once it has been tested and approved for wider release we will take all possible steps to see it distributed through all our sales channels. We're posting it here for forum users to test.

Anyone using steam will certainly need a work around to to test this update.

Well that narrows it down.. do i have to fiddle with event 37 for a few hours to see if its working? or would you like to save me the trouble of doing it a third time?

event 37 appears to be fixed,

for mutiplayer, it's internal stuff related to potential crashes and sync errors. Multiplayer should be a little more stable, but there could still be issues.

One more question.. what specifically in the UI was changed.. since i have custom UI files i may or maynot have to completely redo them based on what you changed lol

(and if event 37 IS fixed im gonna have some fun finally)

Edit: oh just unit huds? no issues there then

Also did george slide in any events we should know about ? I mean event 37 being fixed is good enough but i gotta ask.

(I've got a few hundred event 37s in the modern world i've had commented out since it didnt work so ill be able to tell as soon as this cache finishes if its really fixed ) :D

No, this is the final update. We'll only change something if this update breaks something new.

Bump in a few days I'll see if I can figure out the hap changes. Mostly small fixes plus a bunch for the HUD changes. I don't think there are any new events, I'll have to double check.

No worries I'm looking over the menus now and i'm not seeing any visual changes to the menus I have edited. TBH i'll just compare the modified date to my custom ones and if the update has a newer date I know ill have to redo it :wink:

At a quick glance there appear to be four new models:

unit 224 - I`m not sure what it is specifically...
unit 284 - Avro Canada CF-105 Arrow
unit 426 - BA-6
unit 447 - BTR-152
