How to grow a small country's economy

Post by theseventh65 »

So far every nation I have played as I have had a hard time raising the GDP of any given country without a huge amount of inflation 10%to 20%, even though I raise taxes, lower social spending, and stop producing commodities it still goes up. Even if I do manage to lower it, my GDP goes straight back to where it was with no growth despite the construction of more commodity producing buildings. What am I doing wrong? Its getting annoying as I pretty much invade other countries to expand my economy and resources since I can't do it myself.

I've heard from others that they grow their economy in less then a year, is that even possible?

Alright lets say I am Cuba and I want my gdp to be at least 1000 without significant inflation and the ability to grow industry without making my inflation skyrocket.

GDPc rise then it's inflation. Inflation will progressively lower. Then you can rise social programs again and let inflation lower again, going by little jumps.
