Critical UN and Approval Effects
Just starting up my first Update 3 game, and I've forgotten the difference between these two and the in-game effects - the effect of critical UN turned off is fairly obvious, but how is that different from approval effects?

Not sure how it works...
My UN approval is and always has been, (for a few years now) zero/outraged....

Re: Critical UN and Approval Effects
Well I seem to remember Critical UN off drastically reducing how the UN reacted when you did something against a member state, and but is approval effects just a duplicate option, or are there different/added effects?
The old wiki (maybe the new one too) used to have a blurb about it, but was very vague.
Basically, I want to make the UN more realistic in the sense that, in real life, the UN rarely militarily does ANYTHING, much less approve a measure for WWIII because you invaded your neighbor. However, I do not want to make the game too easy either.
Anyone?

SR Wiki to the rescue. At the bottom is a breakdown of the Approval rating settings & what they do.
