So, slight problem. Im playing as North Vietnam, and when i try to attack the south, my units go in to the territory, but don't take it over...Why?

They have to be either Infantry or tank units to take over, and maybe also recon and Anti Tank. I know that Artillery and Anti Air cannot take over enemy territory.

And that's what i did, except when my tanks and infantry go in to the territory they just stand there...Like idiots. No frontline shift, no nothing, my territory stay the same.

Any ideas?

Never mind, it was an update issue. Thanks for the response.

Do you have them set on stealth? They won't take land that way.

I got the same problem on Vietnam War playing as Soviet Union. My units push the french until about 100 km at south of Vihn. When I try to follow the road to Hue and Da Nang, my units don't go far away and reset my orders. I like the game don't allow me to go into South Vietnam territory.
I can invade Laos territory without problems.

Could be a bug?

Ok.. Stealth was on... I don't remember when i set on this option.

I suppose you wanted to not be detected. Your guerillas are extremly more effective in jungle and cities btw.
