-The ability to do amphibious/airborne operations during proxy wars
-Be able for my arty to fire during proxy wars (I think it might be a bug though that they aren't)
-Be able to transfer units straight from a ships cargo to a helicopter/planes cargo that is based upon it. Without having to use a port, would make ampibious operations easier, as I could just airlift units from the ship to shore without having to bring the ship into arty range.

This and...

--More wars at higher Vol levels. The Vol level apparenly only impacts the US/USSR shootout, but no one else. At VH, I'd like it to more resemble the VH vol of SR2020's shattered world scenario. Everybody just goes at it.

--Shorter wars between nations when they get their strategic goals. Example: N Vietnam wins, drives out France. France should be willing to make peace then (but not before).

--A Shattered World 1950 scenario.

--changed from the bi-polar diplomatic system. It just isn't working like it should. Too easy as the USA (or USSR) to get everyone on your side early and they tend to stay there.

Got another, the ability for aircraft to use merchant marine when travelling long distances that they don't have the range to cover and cant get there by base hopping. (would help with diplo mm for aircraft)

You can already achieve this by editing one of the text files, don't recall exactly which one ATM. You need to have an air field/air base and a pier/port in the same hex at both ends of the trip to make it work.

Another coll thing (roleplay only) would be the ability to change the name of the units and battle roup, like the aircraft carriers like in SR 2010

Should be standard though in my opinion.

Since it is obvious that SRCW development ended, is there any chance of BG releasing map editor?? :D

The map editor is still a horrible mess. However, SR-CW development is not yet over, although it may only be hotfixes/content updates from this point.

Come on! We just need a way to edit hex loyalties (and maybe resources at a later stage) :D

Looks like we have to wait 1 or 2 years for update 4 because SR1936 will take all their time.

SR1936? It will be a repeat of SRCW, with bugs.
I've given up on it all and am now playing XCOM Enemy Unknown. Much more FUN!!
