Smaller map (Es. Only Europe World)

Would be an interesting idea having the chance to play on a smaller map, only Europe, Asia, America end so on..

Surely it would help beginners to understand the dynamic of the game without having to take care of too many countries and variables.

At the same time the game would run faster, being playable on an average computer also after many game years.

The length of a game would be shorter, some player would prefer it.

Some players would prefer not having to care about large scale conflicts, sometime is much funnier to fight only your neighbors.

The world could still be a sphere.
