i love this gajme and everything about it except the fact that i can never get past 1960 and ill iv wanted to do since i got this game was to play straight to 1991 and see the collaps of the soviet union and iv noticed that by 1960 the world has so much units moving around and such that it takes hours for one day to go bye id like to know if there is a way to make the ai nations not build units untill a certin year so the time would speed by untill the desired year...

The collapse of the SU isn't scripted right now if that makes you feel better.


On topic though this is a duplicate of a duplicate of a duplicate post.
BG is well aware of the slow down issues.
Its not purely related to the number of units.. although that does cause some of it.. bad pathing issues is the worst culprit.
