Attack range < 16 km
If I have two similar units (tanks for example), one with attack range 2 km, second - 4 km, will this difference taken in account in combat calculation between them? I found this thread about long distance (beyond one hex) attack, is similar calculations performed for low range units (tanks/infantry)?

One will more than likely attack shortly before the other, but I dont believe you will see any noticeable difference.

I only find it important if it outranges stationary garrisons, or units that have run out of fuel.
For example, if that 2km tank has ammo but no fuel, he won't be able to move within range of the 4km range tank, as far as I know.

I'm quite sure, the first unit/stack in hex gets the first shot in such a situation (usually the defending unit/stack), unless another unit has a much greater reaction time???
Not 100% sure on this, but I'm almost certain the Goats have said range means little when it's under 16KM
