All good ideas for scenarios and some will be included (while others probably won't). For example, although Egypt vs Libya would be neat, Egypt has a more important role in the Middle East scenario. I can't imagine that they would want to be left out of that skirmish

The Aroostook War! This was a blood-less war between the State of Maine (part of Massachutts at the time) and Canada. It was over the county of Aroostook. (Which is now the northern most county of Maine) The "war" was over before it begain but would still be a cool scenario. Maine vs. Brunswick vs. Quebec vs. New Hampshire/Vermont etc.

Maybe the SR2010 website could host a scenario page? People could post thier favorite creations for others to enjoy!

How about a world war. Say the caolition of the willing (US, Australia, Britin and isreal) vs EU vs United African States (including arab countries on the continent) United Arab States (all arab countries including places like indoneasia, etc) vs Asian Federation (all asain countries that are not allied to something else) vs The Indo-Slav Alliance (Russia, Belarus, ukraine, India and maybe sri lanka and serbia) vs The Socialist Union (all commie countries)vs The Latin American connection(all latinamerican countries)

Fun fictional campagian involving the whole world.of course the coaitions need name tweaks.

I like the sound of it too, but i doubt it would be included in the game, but if somone makes a mod or map based on this scenario, that would be really good

I am scheming too take over Iraq and then invade Saudi Arabia with it(snce they already took over Kuwait) then Quatar. With at least 20% of the worlds oil in my hands I could make a profit selling that oil... which I would then use too build up my army, airfoce, and Navy(as well as a arsonal of WMDs)

They are one of the four players in the "Nordic Regions" map and are perhaps the strongest since they begin with the most active military industry.

Ahh the strategic possibilities. I love the idea of a California scenario [as a resident]. The SF Giants will beat the LA Dodgers into submission! I also thought of starting in Iraq, after looking at a globe. It seems to be central to the most areas for conquest, in other words, the largest land area. And it was one of the cradles of civilization. I am a great believer in history, and the Persian Empire stretched from Greece into India, Libya & Russia before Alexander crushed it. Let's do it again!!!
Another starting place would be Panama or Eqypt. Both probably would have very low economic values, but their strategic location is unparalleled.
I also thought it would be interesting to begin with the vast portions of eastern Russia that have huge resources but a poorly managed economy. Gold!
The problem with taking over the world from San Francisco is that you have this huge ocean to one side. What is the movement rate of an aircraft carrier group in an SR2010 day?

Depends on the scale of the map. The km per hex is set on each map individually and the carriers have a fixed km/h speed (researched whenever possible) so it's quite variable.

im thinking playing as Norway ( my country of residence, and part country of ancestry), Greece (part of my ancestry) or playing as the north island of NZ in the Australia campaign (former residence) question? can you bomb your own cities? because i'd love to bomb Wellington. and can you move capitals (with the south island have cecedded there is no reason for the government to stay in Wellington)

>"can you bomb your own cities?"

No, you can't bomb your own cities  :D If you don't like them, rename them :-)

>"and can you move capitals"

Yes, you can move capitals, except in certain scenarios or missions where that isn't an option, or if you turn off the 'relocate capitals' setting when you start the game. (If you turn this off, then a region will fall as soon as you take its capital, instead of when its last city falls).
