Hulla I am open for any playtime, If you can convince tkobo to play on one of the days/times you can be there, I am game.

***The decadent west, you are not straining your economy, you are more enamored of the big mac and the designer jeans. We, being true utopian society, are only interested in world peace and prosperity. However, when attacked we must defend ourselves. Prick us, do we not bleed?

You westeners have always been jealous of real soviet men. After we placed the 1st artificial satellite around earth in 1957, you were jealous. You launched one in 1958.
We launched the first man made object to orbit the sun in 1959, you wept.
Later that same year, we placed the first man made object on the moon. One month later one of our probes scans 70% of the moons surface, another first.
1961, we place the first man in space, Ю́рий Алексе́евич Гага́рин, he was whistling one of our great songs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZRMKiGKSdk
What does the west do? Fear monger
We sent the first woman into space, a fine representitive of our glorious nation. Men AND women working together, a true Utopia.
1965 One of our cosmonauts performed the 1st space walk.
Nov, 1965 we place the first man made object on Venus.
1966 we land the first space craft on the moon.
That same year we have the first space craft to orbit the moon.
First first first, can all you westerners do is follow?

Not sure what president im supposed to play ....
so... heres one.

President for life Barack Hussein Obama's reply :
Dear kind sir, we apologize. We are sure we are responsible for this, and we beg your forgiveness.

Who are we to tell you , you cant erect a pretty iron curtain wherever you want ?I often long for a way to establish the same transparency and order your curtain provides, in my own nation.

I hope that the equipment we sell to our allies is of no real trouble for you.And we apologize in advance if the men of those regions muck up your mech infantry and tank treads with their blood.

On that topic,if you bleed we are agian very sorry. We will of course offer you first aid and blow kisses on your wounds to make them feel better.

Oh, and thank you for those strategies on "how to nationalize the private sector",they were very helpful.I now literally run just about everything.

We know you have only the best interests of the world at heart and will in no way directly oppose your forces.Good luck with storming those regions.

Your comrade in ideology,if not arms,
Barry Soetoro

...heres another.

First term President Harry S Truman III.

Dear sir,
I can see youve rebirthed the bear, and its both hungary and rampant. It must be caged again. Its rampage will not serve you well in the long term.

The countries you are at war with have offered you peace. You turned them down. You had the option to hold your own borders and seek peace, you choose not to.

Currently as im sure you know, the political situation i am in, prevents me from opposing your plans directly.I will seek strongly to change that.BUT til i achieve this, we will help those who you seek to draw your walls and curtains around.

We will provide those regions with equipment, arms and resources speedily delivered by air.Much as weve done in the past.

You failed in the first cold war, and you'll fail in this one no matter how hot you turn it.You have the chance to turn back, take it.You know we have the stronger economy, the better technology, and that time is on our side.Turn back, for your own interest.

Your waiting and wanting ,hopefully soon to be, partner in peace,
Harry S Truman III

Great to see another MP game.

Don't you guys think you would have seen less war declarations on Russia if the world volatility wasn't set to VERY HIGH?

Yep Pax, it was an issue I mulled over greatly. On the one hand if we used a lower volatility setting it may not have been the game we wanted. Cannot support others against your enemy is there is no war. In the end I decided to leave it as is. I can attempt to stop wars in the future via diplomacy.

**Mr President - it is true, one of your western allies that declared war on the peace loving peoples of the Soviet Union did indeed offer a peace deal. However, it was after we were rampaging through their country. Apparently it was not offered in good faith, but only to avoid them being assimilated. All nations should understand, resistance is futile and as such examples must be made.

Had this deal been offered earlier we would have of course agreed. Or better yet, none of your lackeys should have declared war on us in the first place, then we would not be in this dispute at all. I see again, as always, the west try's to make us into the bad guy.

id rather keep it the way it is.Im playing for a cold war feeling, and that gets lost when the war goes hot.And its already lost alot with russia in so many direct conflicts.

Id prefer the day stay the same, and that it stays just between super powers.

By the way, I have not used a spy in SR2020 since the first month I purchased the game. They do nothing to add to my gaming experience, so I ignore them. I think it has more to do with the high volitility setting. If I ever do this again, I imagine some settings would be changed.

as of 6.7.63, I think they can be used as provocation. When they are caught, the country that caught them get slightly increased CB and little bad relations. I could remember wrong though, and all of this whit out provocing the rest of the world also.

Thanks for the info GiJoe! I just realized that you're using G.C.. I take it regular SR2020 won't work? If it would (or when I get Gold) I'd Like to play as Germany, if it's available. Are you using Game Ranger? I've never played SR multilayer.

I see no reason to use spies in SR, so I will continue to ignore them. By and large I do not care about the UN or how the rest of the world views me in 90% of my games. The only 10%, I will just have to muddel through it. :)

My original intent of the game was to have 2 people play the superpower and all other countrys be open for anyone to play. The fun in it would be trying to advance your "cause" without actually having to take over the world. In my opinion, human players for "minors" would make it more fun. That still holds. For minors, having to court one or the other and then joining a "faction" and helping to bring more nations into the fold should be the draw. Tick off one side and you may find your current enemy fielding units 20 or 60 years ahead of your technology level, as one example.

Yes, you must have the exact same version of the game as the rest of the players. In this case GC V6.7.63.

Hopefully not as I would hate to have the USSR run by the AI in a game I took the time to advertize and host :)
