MP crash with RTD (Return to Desktop)

first of all, in the last version It was not working very well but was able to join games.
Now if I try to join, I get the RTD.

I run 64Bit Vista, yes I tried to run it as Admin, yes I tried compatibility mode as well...
It seems, there is a lot of work still on the agenda .-(

happens to me as well, normally i quit Xfire and restart the PC, after trying to join a few times i normally get in

We have seen the odd CTD joining a game after playing some SP or MP games but not from a fresh launch. We're still looking for the cause but it seemed fairly isolated. So you're launching the game, MP, join, CTD? Is there more than that?

What map are you playing?
How many players are trying to join?
Are you trying a new game or a reload of a save game?

Acodian was trying to join a game of 3 others when his was crashing. My friend, stealk also is running vista 32 and after the patch he couldnt join. It kept crashing. For both Acodian and Stealk, restarting MOSTLY solved it although there are still crashes once in a while. I am so glad I use Xp.

I startet the PC fresh, no Xfire etc is running, after trying to jon the MP game the mouse freeze, 30 sec. later I find my self on the Desktop.... thats all.
Is there a Log I can send you?
